Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Afton, TX is seeking an Operator Grader to operate motor graders and support underground utility maintenance and restoration projects. This on-site, full-time role focuses on precise grading, safety, and productivity in challenging environments.

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, read grade stakes and plans, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision; CDL and OSHA training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating motor graders.
• Experience on underground utility or civil construction projects.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read grade stakes, construction plans, and utility drawings.
• Knowledge of excavation safety and underground utility practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders and other heavy equipment for underground utility projects.
• Perform rough and finish grading for excavation and site restoration.
• Read drawings, grade stakes, and maintain project grade requirements.
• Coordinate with foremen to meet daily production goals and schedules.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine equipment maintenance.
