Job summary

FlatironDragados in Lumberton NC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to drive, operate, and maintain road construction machinery on our site. You will collaborate with the crew, perform basic repairs, and follow safety protocols to support our projects.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and experience with construction equipment. We offer a comprehensive compensation package, PTO, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, wellness benefits, and tuition reimbursement to eligible

Responsibilities

• Drive, maneuver, or control the heavy machinery used to construct roads and other structures.
• Cleans and maintains equipment, making basic repairs as necessary.
• Moves levers, pushes pedals, or turn valves to control equipment. Drives and maneuver equipment.
• Coordinates machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
• Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.
