Job summary

PURIS is seeking an Operator - Excavator - Trenching - Water & Sewer in Pasadena, TX to support trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects. Under supervision of the Operations Manager, you will conduct daily field activities, operate excavators, and ensure safe, efficient work practices on active sites.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, fueling, setting up trench jacks, installing liners, and coordinating with crews to minimize disruption to residents and businesses.

Qualifications

• Experience with trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Good communications and interaction skills.
• Ability to follow orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in extreme environments and confined spaces.

• Sets up trench jacks.
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses.
• Repairs manholes.
• Fuses pipe.
• Sets up winches and connects hoses.

• Connects services.
• Sets up equipment.
• Utilizes all safety equipment and follows SOPs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator will conduct all the daily activities associated with Trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Experience and Qualifications:

• Incumbent must possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities. Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.
