Position Overview

Workwear Outfitters is a leading supplier of work apparel and footwear for a wide range of occupations. We are seeking a Sewing Technician to work in a fast‑paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Check in garments upon arrival.
• Load designs onto the machine via computer, hoop garments or items while the machine is running, prepping for the next run.
• Operate machines and trim backing while maintaining quality.
• Adjust tensions for improved sewing quality.
• Fix errors on items as needed.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Requirements

• Sewing/embroidery experience helpful but not required.
• Basic communication skills: reading, speaking, understanding English.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Vision: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work with others positively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow directions.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends when needed.
• Good attendance.

Hours and Shift

1st shift: 6:00AM–2:30PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required daily and on Saturday.
