Job summary

Bunge in Decatur, IN is seeking a D Operator - Edible Oil to safely load trucks and rail cars and perform utility duties in the Edible Oil Department at the Decatur plant. You will monitor processes and ensure safety and quality in daily operations.

A Day in the Life:

This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The D Operator - Edible Oil is responsible for safely and accurately loading trucks and rail cars and performing various utility functions through the Edible Oil Department.

Position Details:

Hourly pay rate: $30.99

What You'll Be Doing:

• Move rail cars for inbound and outbound shipments
• Load and unload trucks and rail cars
• Unload and distribute inbound supplies and products
• Monitor gas plant and nitrogen buildings
• Report any concerns with safe food practices
• Monitor processes and make adjustments as needed
• Record process conditions on log sheet
• Wash rail cars
• Clean and change filters
• Sanitation duties

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic computer and mechanical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime, flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in an industrial environment
