Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an entry-level Operator C, Phos Acid in White Springs, FL. This on-site role supports safe operation of phos acid processing equipment and related systems, including start-up, monitoring, and routine quality checks.

Responsibilities include following safety and environmental guidelines, operating mobile equipment, and learning B operator duties with daily housekeeping. A valid driver's license is required, with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule often used in this facility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Preferred mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience operating mobile equipment is preferred.
• Industrial, manufacturing, mining, chemical processing, or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe and efficient operation of equipment and associated auxiliary systems; includes start-up, shutdown, and continuous monitoring through instrumentation and analytical procedures.
• Comply with all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines at all times.
• Be responsible for knowledge of the Crystalizer and Dissolver sampling process as well as the wash water Flocculant system, managing and operating the Tank Farm system, the fume scrubber system, the high-pressure cleaning system, process cleaning duties, repair day cleaning duties.
• Safely operate the Bobcat, Front end Loader and other mobile equipment as needed.
• Train and learn the "B" operator duties, along with daily housekeeping assignment.
• Perform production/quality checks as assigned.
• Perform housekeeping/sanitation functions as required.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Experience operating mobile equipment (forklifts, loaders, Bobcats, etc.), preferred
• Industrial, manufacturing, mining, chemical processing, or production experience, preferred.

Testing Requirements for Hourly Applicants (Required)

• All hourly applicants must complete the Florida Ready to Work or National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) assessment. A minimum score of 3 in Math, 3 in Reading, and 3 in Data is required to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien.
• Applicants must also complete the Florida Ready to Work Soft Skills Assessment and achieve a "Passed" status.
• Both certificates (Florida Ready to Work or NCRC and Soft Skills) must be uploaded along with your resume when submitting your application.
