Novolex is seeking a Machine Operator Associate for the Greensboro, NC facility. The role requires operating and troubleshooting thermoforming equipment, ensuring safety and quality, and supporting production teams.

Compensation is $18.15 per hour with a rotating 7a–7p and 7p–7a schedule (2x3x2). This position emphasizes reliable record-keeping, adherence to safety guidelines, and proactive problem-solving to maintain production targets and product quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely and at or above standard production levels.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines to fix defects and improve efficiency.
• Provide support to less experienced colleagues and ensure proper crew time reporting.
• Inspect products for defects and adjust equipment to correct causes.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and standard work practices.

Job Description

Machine Operator Associate|Greensboro, NC|HIRING IMMEDIATELY|

Compensation:

• $18.15 per hour

Available Shift:

• (7am-7pm) (7pm-7am)
• (will roatate every 10 weeks)
• 2x3x2 schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues
• Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
• Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
• Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
• Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
• Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
