Job summary

Valgroup in Findlay, Ohio is hiring an Operator Assistant to support our plastics manufacturing facility. This on-site role offers a 12-hour NIGHT shift with training on DAYS and multiple weekdays with every other weekend off.

You will become a skilled machine operator, pull and weigh materials, and learn start-up, troubleshooting, and forklift operations. We value mechanical ability, problem solving, safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical ability and problem solving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate on a 12-hour NIGHT shift schedule (training on DAYS).
• Work multiple weekdays with every other weekend off.
• Become a skilled machine operator.
• Pull and weigh materials.
• Learn line start-up and troubleshooting.
• Learn to operate forklift.
• Assist other projects as needed.
