Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Operator Assistant in Mount Pleasant, WI for first shift. This temporary role involves setting up and cleaning equipment, loading materials with a pallet jack, and preparing packaging materials to ensure GMP and safety standards are met.

The position requires reading and speaking English, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and effective communication with teammates to monitor production status.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to operate a powered pallet jack.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers about production status.
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift and/or move materials up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED with production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up (assemble/disassemble), adjust and clean equipment to produce color products and package finished goods per GMP, safety and sanitation standards.
• Load materials using a pallet jack; move WIP or finished product to filling operations, storage or shipping.
• Prepare packing materials (drums, pails, boxes) and packaging labels for transfer.
• Apply labels to products.
• Follow GMP, safety, sanitation and quality specifications and procedures.

Operator Assistant Responsibilities:

• Sets up (assembles and disassembles), adjusts and cleans equipment to produce color products and packages these finished goods according to quality, GMP, safety and sanitation standards; operations will include packing, setup, and sanitation procedures
• Loads materials to be processed using a pallet jack; transfers WIP or finished product to filling operation, additional processing operations, storage or shipping area
• Prepare packing materials (drums, pails, boxes) and packaging labels and stacks or stages containers for transfer
• Apply labels to products
• Follow all GMP, safety, sanitation and quality specifications and procedures

Requirements for Operator Assistant:

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to operate a powered pallet jack
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers regarding the status of the production process
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift and/or move materials or equipment up to 50lbs
• High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment preferred IND012
