Responsibilities

• Operate punch presses as a helper, assisting the primary operator with setup, feeding, and part handling
• Assist in secondary type operations
• Perform metal finishing tasks including drilling, tapping, product re-work, tube sizing, deburring, and sanding
• Perform general cleanup around machines and work area
• Perform operator quality checks using proper measuring devices and complete quality records
• Complete appropriate paperwork accurately and completely
• May require forklift or overhead crane training
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

Shift : 4x10's

1st - 4am - 2pm (Monday - Thursday)

2nd - 2pm - 12pm (Monday - Thursday)

Weekend Shift: Work 36- paid 40

Friday-Sunday 4am-4pm

Become and operator after 90 days ($21/hr-$23/hr)

Machine Assistant

The ideal candidate for this position will assist press operators and support a variety of production tasks on the floor.

Duties may include:

• Operate punch presses as a helper, assisting the primary operator with setup, feeding, and part handling


• Assist in secondary type operations


• Perform metal finishing tasks including drilling, tapping, product re-work, tube sizing, deburring, and sanding


• Perform general clean up around machines and work area


• Perform operator quality checks using proper measuring devices correctly during operation and complete quality records, as required


• Complete appropriate paperwork accurately and completely


• May require successful completion of forklift or overhead crane training


• Other duties as assigned
