Job summary

Cirtec Medical in Lowell, MA seeks an entry-level Manufacturing Assembler for first shift. You will assemble components into finished goods on one or more production lines, follow standard documentation, and meet quality and production rate targets under supervision.

Responsibilities include operating wafer fab equipment in a clean room, handling small devices, performing basic measurements, documenting work, and collaborating with supervisors to ensure accurate completion of tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in medical device manufacturing.
  • 1+ years in a clean room environment using a microscope.
  • Proficiency in English (reading writing speaking).

  • Manually manipulate fragile wafers on a regular basis.
  • Work with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.
  • Make basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances.
  • Perform in-process visual inspections with/without microscopes.
  • Accurately document all work on inspection reports and travelers.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using gauges, verniers, and micrometers.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team leads.

Position Summary

You will assemble a range of components into finished goods across one or more production lines ensuring standard documentation quality and production rates are met under the direction of the Production Team Leader/Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operates a variety of wafer fab equipment in a clean room production environment.
  • Able to manually manipulate fragile wafers on a regular basis.
  • Works with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.
  • Makes basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances dimensions
  • Performs in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with established requirement.
  • Must accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelers.
  • Performs various dimensional inspection using specific gauges dimensional inspection systems verniers and micrometers.
  • Collaborating with supervisors and team leads.
Must Have
  • 1+ years experience in medical device industry and manufacturing required.
  • 1+ years' experience in a clean room environment using a microscope.
  • Proficiency in English (reading writing speaking) required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods manage multiple tasks lift up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; strong attention to detail essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Salary Range: $19.00
