Job summary

Expro in Alaska is seeking an offshore operations assistant to support the preparation and execution of equipment tasks. The role involves working with a team to ensure safe, compliant operations and high-quality service to clients, with supervision as needed.

You will participate in toolbox talks, liaise with client representatives, and collaborate with offshore supervisors and the operations team to complete required documentation and competencies for career progression.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade
• 3+ years technical experience 4+ years technical experience preferable within relevant field

Responsibilities

• Carry out operations with team, ensuring safe completion and no technical issues.
• Check equipment compliance with Expro policies and procedure.
• Attend toolbox talks and planning meetings.
• May work at onshore bases for prep/return of equipment.
• Liaise with client representatives professionally to ensure service quality.
• Coordinate with offshore supervisor and operations team for safe task completion.
• Complete documentation for company procedures and client requirements.
• Share knowledge with subordinates to aid competency progression.
• Work with colleagues to complete competencies for current/next role.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To work within a team to assist under supervision with the preparation and running of equipment offshore ensuring successful safe operations in accordance with Company procedures and thereby ensuring a quality service to client.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating manual.
• Undertake checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expro’s policies, standards and procedures and ensure they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.
• Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required.
• May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation and return of equipment.
• Liaise with clients representatives when required in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client.
• Liaise with offshore Supervisor, team members, and operations department as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed as required with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to achieve safe operations and task completion.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements.
• Actively work with subordinates to share knowledge to assist with their competency progression when required.
• Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role.
