Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking an Operator 2, Warehouse Operations in Sparks, MD 21152 for a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently. You will safely move materials and operate equipment in a fast-paced, metrics-driven warehouse.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 0–1 year of warehouse experience, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. The first shift runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, on-site with in-person interviews.

Qualifications

• Attendance mandatory for first 90 days.
• 0–1 year of warehouse experience or related training.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math and general computer skills.
• Must meet physical demands including standing, walking and lifting 50+ lbs.
• Safety shoes required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain licenses/certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, power trucks) to move materials within the facility.
• Follow SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
• Complete routine tasks with general to limited supervision.
• Maintain basic records as needed.
• Work in an environment with moderate-to-loud noise and moving parts.

In this role, you will support warehouse operations by safely moving and handling materials and operating equipment in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Compensation

$18.00 per hour paid biweekly

Benefits available after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service on eligibility dates

Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Highlights

• Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Responsibilities

• Use material-handling equipment (may include forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks) to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the facility
• Follow SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Complete routine, step-based tasks with general to limited supervision
• Maintain basic records as needed
• Work in an environment that may include moderate-to-loud noise and exposure to moving mechanical parts
