Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota seeks a #2 Operator in Prepress for the 2nd shift to lead and train the crew, review job specifications, and ensure quality through setup, monitoring, and maintenance.

You will work with lean practices, communicate across shifts, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting a safe, efficient operation on the Core Print Solutions team.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher. Candidates with a vocational/technical degree are strongly preferred
• Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
• Good communication skills including experience sharing information across shifts and departments
• Proven success as a trainer
• Competence with rulers and measurement
• Can regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder as well as push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Regularly standing walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and kneeling

#2 Operator in Prepress - 2nd shift

As a #2 Press Operator, you will be responsible for working as a Mid-Level Operator on our Core Print Solutions team. In this role you will provide leadership, work direction, and train/develop the skills of the crew to consistently optimize overall performance.

Hours of Work – Eagan, Minnesota

• 2nd shift – 2:30p - 10:30p
• Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation hourly range for this role is $21 USD - $39 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
