Baxters North America in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Production Operator for a fast-paced packaging line. You will keep machines clean, monitor codes, load cartons, and communicate issues to teammates to keep lines running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate paperwork, reporting jams, assisting with code changes, and complying with GMPs and PPE. The role may involve a 12-hour alternative work week schedule and lifting up to 75 lbs, with opportunities for growth
Reports directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for completing all duties and tasks assigned to them before their normal work shift ends. Signs off on safety commitments.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Basic math skills.
Carries out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to lift 60-75lbs.
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree).

The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and potential exposure to sulphuric acid (electric battery), potential exposure to carbon monoxide from propane fueled forklift. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
