Job summary

Vertellus is seeking a full-time Operator for its Operations team in Midlothian. The role includes running production, adhering to safety procedures, and handling equipment malfunctions. Job description

Role Overview

Operator – full‑time position in Operations at Aurorium, located in Midlothian.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Run production during the scheduled shift, running process samples, offloading raw material, and follow all relevant SOPs
• Cover all Operator tasks and jobs as needed
• Ensure cGMP procedures are followed
• Ensure product is produced, packaged, and stored correctly
• Advise the Supervisor to resolve day‑to‑day plant issues
• Advise the Supervisor to resolve reoccurring issues and equipment malfunctions
• Assist in maintenance activities in the production area
• Assist in documenting accurate batch documents and control log sheets
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required

• Comply with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
• Report all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near‑misses promptly
• Act in a safe and responsible manner at all times
