Job summary

Description

The description and purpose of the Chemical Loader is to operate assigned equipment or areas of the plant and perform operations related activities per the work process, utilize chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot the loading and unloading of tankers/isotainers/railcars/tanks/vessels in a safe and efficient manner, work in a team environment where individuals often set priorities and complete work activities with minimal supervision. Work schedule is Day Shift 7AM-5PM (10 hr days) Mon-Fri

  • Follow operating discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas
  • Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems in order to maximize production and product quality.
  • Perform tasks assigned to operations as per procedures including field checks, sampling and equipment preparation and lineups.
  • Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
  • Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
  • Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times
