Itape is seeking a Film Line Operator- Blown to join our Production team. The role involves safely controlling production machinery and ensuring rolls meet required specifications. You will monitor quality, keep logs, and maintain equipment alignment while working in a graveyard rotating shift.

The position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to OSHA and environmental regulations, with a focus on accurate recordkeeping and a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to learn production equipment quickly and safely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations is needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

Status: Hourly Graveyard, Rotating

Position Purpose: The Film Line Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.

Principle Accountabilities

• Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications.
• Produces the required quantity of rolls within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of rolls produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded rolls.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
