Job summary

Itape is seeking a Film Line Operator- Blown in the Production department. The role focuses on safely operating film production machinery to produce rolls that meet specifications and tolerances.

You will maintain logs, inspect equipment, and perform routine maintenance while keeping a clean and safe work area. Reports to the Manufacturing Manager; hourly non-exempt position requiring a High School Diploma and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Quick learner of production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in accordance with specifications.
• Produce the required quantity of rolls within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of rolls produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded rolls.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose: The Film Line Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.

Principle Accountabilities

• Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications.
• Produces the required quantity of rolls within established specifications and tolerances.
