ECKART in Schererville, IN is seeking a production operator for the 3rd shift to manufacture defect-free product safely and efficiently in a clean, organized environment.

You will follow construction cards, troubleshoot quality issues, and perform ERP SAP transactions while labeling goods per instructions, ensuring compliance and continuous production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in chemical manufacturing, printing/coating, or metalizing operations.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety procedures; report and correct unsafe conditions.
• Operate Coating, Metallizing, Slitting, and Finishing equipment.
• Produce to specification by following construction cards; troubleshoot quality issues and machine breakdowns as needed.
• Follow work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Follow production schedule; perform ERP SAP transactions and label goods.
• Communicate production status to the incoming shift.
• Work on the 3rd shift.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Your Responsibilities

The primary function of the operator is to manufacture defect-free product safely and efficiently, while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, safety and environmental procedures are followed, and identify and report unsafe conditions. Correct unsafe conditions if possible.


• Maintain competency in the operation of Coating, Metallizing, Slitting and Finishing production equipment


• Manufacture product to specification by following construction cards; troubleshoot quality non-conformances and machine breakdowns or failures as needed and in accordance with training and work instructions


• Follow departmental work instructions and procedures to ensure safe, quality, and efficient output


• Follow production schedule, perform transactions in ERP system and label goods in accordance with work instructions. Must be able to perform all required tasks in the ERP system (SAP)


• Effectively communicate production status to incoming shift to ensure production continuance
