Job summary

LRS is a leading provider of environmentally responsible waste and recycling solutions, and we seek a MRF Operator at our Monmouth, IL facility. You will perform daily inspections, monitor equipment, and ensure safety policies are followed as part of a team committed to reliable service and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities include optimizing truck loads per DOT rules, keeping cab and machinery clean, reporting needed repairs, and handling incoming materials while maintaining safety

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre and post trip inspection of the equipment per company standards to ensure fluid levels are at proper levels and safety devises are functioning properly
• Continuously monitor the performance of the equipment and report any repairs needed to the maintenance department
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Keep machine and cab clean
• Monitor materials coming in and report all unacceptable waste to management
• Maximize truck load weights per DOT regulations
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Site Supervisor

• Perform daily pre and post trip inspection of the equipment per company standards to ensure fluid levels are at proper levels and safety devises are functioning properly

• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

• Equipment operator position requires the operation of equipment with open and closed cabs.
• Required to work indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to weather extremes and dusty conditions.
• Required to work within close proximity to customers and will be exposed to busy traffic patterns.
