Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) is seeking an on-site MRF Operator for the Monmouth Transfer Station. The role focuses on the safe operation of heavy equipment and adherence to safety policies to protect people and the environment.

Responsibilities include daily pre/post trip inspections, monitoring equipment performance, reporting repairs, keeping the cab clean, and communicating any unacceptable waste to management while following company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

• Continuously monitor the performance of the equipment and report any repairs needed to the maintenance department
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Perform other job duties as assigned

Job Description

The MRF Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the heavy equipment at the facility.

Reports To

• Perform daily pre and post trip inspection of the equipment per company standards to ensure fluid levels are at proper levels and safety devises are functioning properly

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

• Equipment operator position requires the operation of equipment with open and closed cabs.
• Required to work indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to weather extremes and dusty conditions.
• Required to work within close proximity to customers and will be exposed to busy traffic patterns.
