Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform railcar and truck loading and offloading, startup, shutdown, and general operation of pumps, screws, belts, tanks, valves, and other process equipment.
• Conduct regular operational rounds to monitor equipment health.
• Perform some minor maintenance activities.
• Monitor and operate equipment within standard operating conditions and limits.
• Assist with startup, shutdown, and operation from a field role.
• Respond to process and equipment upsets and address them appropriately.
• Identify operating problems and recommend actions to resolve deficiencies in rate, quality, or operation.
• Safely handle dry products, nitric acid and liquid fertilizer during loading.
• Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping duties.
