Job summary

A leading supplier of custom molded plastics in Gainesville, Texas, is seeking an experienced Operator to join their dynamic team. This role involves operating injection-molding machines to manufacture products and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates must possess the ability to operate multiple machines and understand blueprints. Physical stamina is essential, including lifting up to 100 pounds. Qualifications

• Ability to operate more than one molding machine and related support equipment.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift/move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods.
• Perform basic arithmetic as part of quality checks.
• Differentiate colors for quality control.
• Work in hot or cold environments and stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 100 pounds and handle parts safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.
• Pull lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies.
• Verify product quality against designated customer requirements.
• Remove finished parts from dies using hand tools.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to schedules.
• Support management with special projects as needed.

Position Summary

Operator

We are looking for an Operator experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for operating injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials
• Pull lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies to cast part
• Trim excess material from part using knife, rout-a-burr, gate clipper or other hand tool
• Verify the quality of the parts produced meet the designated customer requirements, quality appearance standard and any functional requirements
• Remove finished product from dies using handtools
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Report to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedules
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
