Position Summary

We are looking for an Operator experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for operating injection‑molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate injection‑molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials
• Pull lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies to cast part
• Trim excess material from part using knife, rout‑a‑burr, gate clipper or other hand tool
• Verify the quality of the parts produced meets the designated customer requirements, quality appearance standard and any functional requirements
• Remove finished product from dies using handtools
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Report to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedules
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Read and understand blueprints
• Capable of operating more than one molding machine and related support equipment
• Ability to use basic measurement tools
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods
• Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Ability and willingness to change job functions at a moment’s notice
