The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Eugene, Oregon seeks an Operative and Specialty Care RN to provide and supervise direct patient care across the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The role promotes patient education, self-management, and medication administration within established guidelines, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The position emphasizes leadership in specialty outpatient care, care coordination, and outcomes

Formación

• Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN/CCNE or equivalent.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the US.
• Eligible for Nurse I-III progression based on state licensure and bridge programs.
• Foreign nursing graduates must have nursing education equivalency validation.
• VA Handbook 5005 qualification standards applicable to nursing grades.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient and specialty care including care coordination and patient education.
• Lead and participate in policy, procedure, and guideline development and revision.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Document broad outcomes for specialty care programs and service levels.
• Promote a safe, supportive environment for professional development and high-quality practice.
