Job description

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Operations Voice Manager to oversee and manage voice-related operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with VoIP and telecommunication systems, along with the ability to lead teams and manage complex operations within a DoD IT environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of voice systems, including VoIP and telecommunication technologies (e.g. Avaya CS2100, Cisco CM, ACD, GENBAND AS, and 5ESS TDM).
  • Provide management and support for voice-related services and ensure high levels of service availability and performance.
  • Manage voice infrastructure, coordinating with technical teams to ensure systems are optimized and secure.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions for voice operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of voice systems, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Report overall telecommunication system configuration management and use Government-provided network infrastructure and management tools (e.g. NetPlus).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant DoD regulations, including network security standards.
  • Supervise teams involved in voice operations and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting and incident management for voice-related issues.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades and improvements to voice infrastructure.

What We Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience.
  • Strong expertise as an Operations Manager, managing VoIP and telecommunication systems.
  • Experience in managing operations in a DoD IT environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and the ability to optimize voice system performance.
  • Familiarity with DoD IT regulations and security standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Certifications:

  • Security+

Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI.
