Job Details

This position is located onsite at our facility in Amityville, NY. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

This role administers a variety of training and development programs for associates within assigned Distribution Center(s). It involves assessing training needs, developing appropriate skills and knowledge, planning and executing learning content, providing documentation, and tracking performance. Successful candidates will possess strong data analytic skills and the ability to deliver training to new hires, cross-trained functions, leadership, and associates needing performance improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver training programs including compliance, safety, job-specific training, and SOPs.
2. Oversee training in warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, quality control, and inventory management.
3. Identify training needs, develop training aids, and contribute as a subject matter expert.
4. Design low-complexity training materials, meet deadlines, and communicate risks.
5. Recommend updates to course materials and manuals.
6. Participate in testing and piloting new training programs, providing feedback.
7. Assess associates' skills and performance, prepare evaluations, and recommend improvements.
8. Onboard new hires, manage training curriculum, and identify skill gaps and future needs.
9. Administer post-training evaluations and recommend actions.
10. Implement measurement strategies for training effectiveness.
11. Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
12. Stay current on industry trends through meetings and seminars.
13. Maintain understanding of new educational methodologies.
14. Travel up to 20% as required.
15. Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Requires a four-year bachelor's degree and five years of experience or equivalent. Training and warehouse experience are highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational skills, proficiency with remote meeting tech, data interpretation, effective communication, problem-solving, training ability, leadership, presentation skills, knowledge of warehouse software, and LMS experience are desirable. Warehouse experience is a plus.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $56,500 - $83,270, varies by location.
