Job Details

Please note, flexibility in schedule will be required based on business needs, this can include working different hours or days.

This position is located onsite at our facility in Mansfield, MA. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

This role administers a variety of training and development programs for associates within assigned Distribution Center(s). It assesses training needs, helps individuals and teams develop appropriate skills and knowledge, and is responsible for planning and executing learning and development content related to all phases of associate development. The role provides training documentation, performance tracking, and training delivery. Successful candidates will possess strong data analytic skills and the ability to effectively deliver training to new hires, cross-trained functions, leadership positions, and associates needing performance improvement.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Deliver training programs for associates, including compliance, safety, specific job function training, and SOPs.
  2. Oversee training in warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, quality control, picking, packing, and inventory management systems.
  3. Determine training needs and develop training aids like instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids, contributing as a subject matter expert.
  4. Design and gather content for low-complexity training materials, meet deadlines, and communicate risks to project managers or leads timely.
  5. Recommend updates to course materials and manuals to meet training needs.
  6. Participate in testing and piloting of new training programs, providing feedback for successful deployment.
  7. Assess associates' skills and performance, prepare evaluations, and recommend improvements.
  8. Onboard new hires and manage training curriculum, identify skill gaps, and future training needs.
  9. Administer post-training evaluations and make recommendations.
  10. Implement measurement strategies consistently.
  11. Work extended hours as needed to meet training objectives.
  12. Stay current on industry needs by attending meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  13. Maintain understanding of new educational and training methodologies.
  14. Travel up to 20%.
  15. Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education: Requires a four-year bachelor's degree and five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Training experience is highly preferred. Warehouse experience is desirable.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of software technology and proficiency with remote meeting tools.
  • Ability to interpret data and adjust accordingly.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to participate in organizational change initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train others and meet learning objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective team-building, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Training experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Warehouse experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Labor Management Systems and SOPs preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations software and inventory systems preferred.

Salary Range*

$56,500 - 83,270. Note: This range reflects a national average; actual compensation may vary by location, with adjustments for specific states.
