Flex in Columbia, SC is seeking an Operations Training Specialist to design and deliver learning solutions for our operations teams. This role focuses on onboarding, coaching, and ensuring associates have essential skills to meet job requirements.

You will lead classroom and on-the-job training, track certifications, and maintain up-to-date training records while collaborating with management to improve curricula.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Public speaking experience.
• Microsoft suite experience.
• Previous training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers new hire training and other training programs to assigned client groups.
• Evaluates training to ensure effectiveness and that associates have the necessary skills to perform job duties.
• Maintains business relationships with management liaisons to ensure feedback on process and results of the training are incorporated into the ongoing curriculum.
• Conducts classroom and On-the-Job Training for operators and technicians when the need arises.
• Ensures all operators are trained and certified based on process requirement in a timely manner.
• Monitors and follows up on certification and re-certification activities.
• Always ensures training system and standard compliance.
• Prepares training packages as and when required by the respective projects.
• Tracks and reports information by reviewing employee training records for current licenses, certificates, and renewals; maintains records of mandatory training; maintains up-to-date training files on all safety-sensitive personnel; checks all files for up-to-date medical records; and advises employees as needed for training purposes.

The Operations Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering learning solutions for the assigned client group(s) within operations and providing on‑going coaching and feedback to ensure associates have the necessary skills to meet the requirements of their position.

Typical day
