Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking an Operations Training Partner to lead Team Member and Manager training across designated territories, ensuring alignment with company standards and SOPs. The role requires building trainer capabilities, supporting new store openings, and driving post-NSO action plans with Area Directors.

Located near NYC, the position emphasizes travel to field sites, collaboration with restaurant leadership, and hands-on mentorship to elevate operational excellence and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and validates the execution of Team Member and Manager training within an assigned territory
• Validates and supports LTO training and execution in assigned territory
• Oversees the execution of Team Member and Manager training within an assigned territory
• Provides feedback on Team Member and Manager training materials
• Facilitates LTO training and execution in assigned territory
• Sources Trainers and executes training for designated NSOs
• Partners with Area Directors on post NSO action planning
• Develops Trainers to ensure Area self sufficiency for growth
• Supports test initiatives and provides feedback to Restaurant Excellence team
• Documents Shack visits and provides feedback on training and operations system execution to Area Directors and Management Teams
• Supports training projects and adheres to timelines
• Partners with Field Ops to support area people planning and Manager development
• Supports license and International training and NSO process in assigned areas

The Operations Training Partner leads the training and coaching of company standards and training programs through partnerships with field operations within an assigned territory to increase overall retention and productivity in the Shacks. This role is accountable for Team Member onboarding and training, New Shack Opening planning and training, Manager training program execution, License Shack training support and the implementation of Company directed initiatives within assigned areas/regions.

Priority candidates live in close proximity to NYC. Must live within 20 miles of an existing Shake Shack location.

Travel Requirements

• Flexibility to travel a minimum of 14 days away from home to lead and support New Store Openings
• Ability to be in the field working side‑by‑side with operations 3-4 per week

Related Experience

1+ years facilitating training in a multi-unit hospitality environment

2+ years Management experience in the hospitality industry

Pay Range

$78,318.00 - $129,888.00

The salary paid to a successful applicant will depend on the applicant’s experience, qualifications, business needs and resources, and the candidate’s location.
