Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Luxemburg, WI seeks an Operations Training Manager to drive on-site training aligned with strategic priorities and the Education & Training roadmap. You will analyze training effectiveness, optimize delivery, and coach a local team to excel in a rapidly changing environment.

This role focuses on manufacturing excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to deploy digital tools and AI to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of learning and development/employee engagement experience required.
• Manufacturing training experience required.
• Food Manufacturing training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead local production training strategy and execute site-wide training programs for manufacturing population.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to deliver training on Health & Safety, Quality, Operations, Compliance, and Operational Excellence.
• Operationalize Education & Training pillar local roadmap with global alignment.
• Develop procedures and structured training programs aligned to global operations and plant goals.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership,HC and Operations to implement local training strategy.
• Lead local execution of site-wide training programs and continuous improvement using plan-do-check-act.
• Close operator standard work gaps to ensure employees are fully trained.
• Build, lead and coach a high performing local training team.
• Deploy digital learning tools to enhance accessibility and traceability.
• Explore and adopt technology and AI to optimize content and learning management.

Position

We are looking for a Operations Training Manager in Luxemburg, WI. The Operations Training Manager will drive the on-site training initiatives targeted and prioritized from our strategic planning process, operational priorities and Education & Training (E&T) Pillar Global roadmap. This role will analyze operational training effectiveness and optimize training delivery processes. This role will inspire, motivate, and coach the team to achieve results while fostering agility to adapt to rapidly changing complex environments and aiming towards a continuous learning culture.

Responsibilities

• This person will lead the local production training strategy operationalization, and execution of site-wide training programs for our manufacturing population to support manufacturing excellence.
• This role will also collaborate across corporate functional teams to deliver training on corporate initiatives and programs such as Health & Safety, Quality, Operations, Compliance, and Operational Excellence, etc. in alignment with the Education & Training Pillar Global roadmap.
• Operationalization of the Education & Training (E&T) Pillar Local roadmap in collaboration with the Education & Training (E&T) Global Pillar lead.
• Procedures and structured training programs aligned to global operations and plant strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership, Human Capital and Operational Functions to align and implement the local training strategy with input from various departments.
• Lead the local execution of site-wide training operational training programs and delivery to our manufacturing population following a plan do check act approach for continuous improvement and technical skills development.
• Close operator standard work gaps to ensure employees are fully trained and capable to perform current and evolving work responsibilities.
• Build, lead and coach a high performing local training team.
• Lead the local deployment of digital learning tools to enhance accessibility and traceability in line with global roadmap.
• Explore evaluate and adopt technology and AI to optimize content, development and learning management.
