Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Houston, TX is seeking an Operations Trainer I to support end-user learning across operations. You will deliver training on Meditech and CUBS, develop materials, and collaborate with leaders to improve performance while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Summary:

The Operations Trainer I collaborates with the Operations Trainer II to ensure end users in the operation increase their learning and can use system applications effectively and efficiently. The Trainer I will be responsible for training staff on how to use specific applications, developing and condcuting training programs, and may work with remote Associates and leaders. The Operations Trainer I is responsible for training delivery support and all related tasks associated with the operation. The Operations Trainer I must be able to communicate effectively and develop job aids.

Responsibilities:

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Assist in the maintenance of classroom information on online learning modules, assuring accuracy and completeness.
• Complete job shadows, deliver training support by creating job aids, and prepare classroom with training materials.
• Engages associates in a variety of training methods, including visual & auditory classroom training, “on-the-floor” training, web-based training…etc.
• Implements and maintain daily training related to specific job functions and operational standard operating protocols for all operations associates.
• Provides daily training on effective collection techniques for all operations units.
• Execute daily training on effective and appropriate utilization of all operations systems such as Meditech and CUBS.
• Participates in the development and testing of system applications and provides training.
• Set up testing times and dates, administer tests, and assist with questions and issues.
• Assists with ensuring compliance with HIPAA and FDCPA training.
• Actively monitors associate accuracy for training purposes and provides feedback and individual training to assist supervisors enhance associate performance.
• Performs ongoing reviews of collector’s desk activity for appropriateness.
• Fosters daily interpersonal interaction with collection staff for guidance and support.
• Ensures adherence to all collection policies and procedures and standard operating protocols (SOPs).
• Available at all times to provide assistance to associates to address questions and operational issues.
• Collaborate with the System Director, Manager of Education and Quality Assurance, Operations Managers, and Supervisors to assist in the development of training resources and programs.
• Communicate effectively all training aspects of TLRA using multiple resources.
• Completes required training as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent years of experience required.

Experience

• 1 year of experience preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• None required.

In accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.
