SLB is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Trainer to support our Data Center infrastructure solutions business.
The Production Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring the workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet production goals efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for new hires and existing employees across various production lines. The Production Trainer collaborates closely with supervisors, quality assurance, and safety teams to maintain high standards of performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Job Duties
- Conduct hands-on training for new and existing production employees on equipment operation, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and visual aids to support learning and retention.
- Monitor trainee progress and provide feedback to supervisors and management.
- Ensure all training activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Review and integrate training feedback.
- Support onboarding processes and cross-training initiatives to enhance workforce flexibility.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Ensure all training materials are available and are of the latest revision.
- Conduct assessments on production personnel and ensure technicians are fully competent before releasing them into production.
- Check for competency of production personnel when reassessment is needed based on competency expiration or request from Supervisor.

- Excellent training skills; ability to adapt training method based on audience and learning type
- Engaging presenter, able to keep attention of trainees for extended periods of time

Minimum Requirements
- Training experience (skilled in adult learning)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in topics being taught, or 5 years’ experience in training, teaching, or similar manufacturing experience otherwise.
- Technical expertise, Safety and Compliance knowledge, Continuous learning abilities
- Communication skills, Leadership influence, Problem Solving and Critical thinking skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
