ASR Group in Crockett, CA is seeking an Operations Training Specialist to lead on-the-job training for production staff, develop SOPs, and deliver Train the Trainer programs. The role emphasizes Safety, Food Quality, and operational excellence on the factory floor.
The ideal candidate has 5-8 years in training or manufacturing, ATD or Six Sigma background preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills. Some travel may be required.

The Operations Training Specialist is responsible for the creation, coordination, deployment, and assessment of technical and operational training across site to build employee competency and capability. The Operations Training Specialist role trains and coaches production line/area based trainers to deliver on-the-job training (OJT) to new employees, as well as delivers refresher training and training for new equipment and processes to production employees. This role spends significant time engaged with our production floor operators and must create training delivery tools that ensure each person receives Safety, Food Quality, and operational excellence training.
