Position Overview

Hurricane Capital is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Operations & Trade Support specialist with a focus on system reconciliations. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless execution of operational processes and providing essential support to the trading activities within our multi-manager hedge fund platform, specifically emphasizing system reconciliations between order management and portfolio management systems and surrounding activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm and reconcile trades with counterparties to mitigate any discrepancies.
• Expand reconciliation efforts to include systematic validation between order management and portfolio management systems.

Operational Efficiency:

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance operational processes and procedures.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline trade support functions, with a specific focus on system reconciliations.
• Monitor and manage operational risks associated with trade support activities.
• Implement controls to minimize errors, emphasizing system reconciliation processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Trade Settlement:

• Facilitate the settlement of trades, collaborating with custodians and prime brokers.
• Help oversee systematic reconciliation processes to promptly resolve any discrepancies in trade settlements.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Liaise with portfolio managers, compliance, and other relevant teams to address trade-related inquiries.
• Provide operational support for various investment strategies across the platform, emphasizing system reconciliations.
