Qualifications

• Education requirements include an associate degree or higher in CS/engineering or a related field.
• Additional technical degrees or certificates are acceptable.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience for the high school diploma path.
• Bachelor's degree holders may qualify for Sr/Grade 5 level.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting, system testing and documents actions.
• Gains expert knowledge of telecom and IT systems and provides cross-training.
• Analyzes solutions using standard procedures.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Performs troubleshooting, system testing, take corrective actions, and produce required documentation.
• Works to gain expert knowledge and understanding of various telecommunications and IT systems, related equipment, and business processes.Provide cross-training to others when required or as needed.
• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
• Perform advanced to expert level installation, maintenance and repair of various telecommunications/IT related equipment and software.
• Perform advanced level troubleshooting and system testing, and produce required documentation.
• Focus on learning and advancing present levels of competency in multiple Telecom and IT technologies.
• Manage small/intermediate level field projects.Understand business unit and customer requirements.
• Assist in adjusting resource demands as required.
• Perform required entries into database and record keeping systems for work and asset tracking.

What We're Looking For:

Operations Technician(Grade 4)

Education : Associate's degree in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering/technology or related field of study; or technical degree/certificate, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.

Experience : In addition to any experience required above, 2 years' technical or relevant work experience is required.

Operations Technician Sr(Grade 5)

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience : In addition to any experience required above, 4 years technical or relevant work experience is required.

Operations Technician Prin( Grade 6)

Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience : In addition to any experience required above, 7years technical or relevant work experience is required.
