11 & A1 Woodward HRT, Inc. is seeking an Operations Technician-Makino Machinist for their 2nd shift at the Loves Park Campus in Rockford, IL. This role involves machine operations, setup, and adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will possess previous CNC experience with a strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T. Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (minimum) - $23.41 (midpoint) - $28.09 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime
Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (minimum) - $26.15 (midpoint) - $31.38 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

What You Will Be Doing
Performing setups, operations, tool offsets, changes and editing programs on HMC Makino machines
Reading and interpreting blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to meet customer specifications
Working with company specific databases, Microsoft and other computer programs to locate work instructions, blueprints, enter production, quality and other data for quality and traceability purposes
Using various inspection tools and equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers and various gauges to ensure customer and company specifications are being met
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.
Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
What we are looking for
Previous CNC operations experience is highly desired
Knowledge and proficiency with reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T is strongly preferred
Level 1:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Level 2:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
A minimum one year’s experience of machine operations is highly desired
