Job summary

Enbridge is seeking an Operations Technician II in Centerville, LA, to maintain and troubleshoot onshore pipeline equipment, including valves, pumps, and pigging operations. You will work 12-hour days on a seven-day rotation, with overtime, on-call, and holiday coverage as needed.

You will coordinate with gas control and other technicians, perform required training, and ensure safe, compliant operation at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of operations experience in production or pipeline environments.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with valves, pumps, and safety devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pipeline valves.
• Launch pigs at platforms as needed.
• Assist measurement technician when required.
• Complete mandatory training per Enbridge, PSM and DOT.
• Monitor valves and corrosion chemical pumps for maintenance.
• Coordinate permitting work with technicians and contractors.

We are thrilled to bring an Operations Technician II onto the Enbridge Team!

Have you worked within production/pipeline operations and would like to gain Onshore experience? Then look no further as we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Our Operations Technician II will maintain pipeline equipment at various locations. While in this vital role you will troubleshoot and perform repairs to nonfunctioning pipeline equipment while also maintaining valves, pig runs and chemical injection equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Operates and maintains pipeline valves
• Launch pigs at various platforms.
• Assist measurement technician as needed.
• Will be required to complete all mandatory training per Enbridge, PSM and DOT regulations.
• Monitor and perform maintenance on valves and corrosion chemical pumps.
• Take a lead role in permitting work to be completed on the Locations by other technicians and any contractor hired to perform repairs or maintenance on Locations.
• Be responsible for maintaining communication with the gas control for daily operation and any operational issues.
• Grass cutting and Weed spraying.
• 811 calls.

Who You Are:

You have the following experience:

• 3-4 years of operations experience in a production operations or pipeline
• A High School Diploma
• Experience working with valves, pumps, and safety devices

The following are considered assets:

• Prior process or pipeline operating experience
• Prior experience working on offshore facilities or Onshore.

Working Conditions:

• Will work 12hr days 7/7 from Nautilus Faciltiy. Centerville, LA.
• Will need to be physically able to climb a lot of stairs daily and will be exposed to heat and cold during the different seasons.
• Must be willing to work overtime, extended hours, respond to callouts if needed on days off and work holidays (if holidays fall on your schedule).
• Works daily in an Onshore environment and Pipeline Facility.
• Reside within 45 Minutes of Nautilus Facility. Centerville, LA.

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Base Salary:

• Base salary ranges from $32.35 - $36.00 USD per hour for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
• Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
