Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician I to support pipeline operations and to maintain facility equipment with a focus on safety and accurate record-keeping.

You will work after hours as needed, may travel between Williams locations, and use Microsoft Office alongside basic process control knowledge. A high school diploma is required and ongoing training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum six months mechanical/controls experience in oil and gas or related internship preferred.
• Valid State Driver's License required.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, loud environments, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Performs various tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements
• Collaborates with others to discover solutions to technical or operational problems
• Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
• Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
• Oversees general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance
• Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
• Other duties as assigned
