Estimated hourly base pay:
Level 1: $18.73(min) - $23.41(mid) - $28.09(max) Plus overtime if applicable
Level 2: $20.92(min) - $26.15(mid) - $31.38(max) Plus overtime if applicable

Are you ready to make your mark? Woodward is hiring for multiple Operations Technicians on 2nd shift in our Aluminum Valve Cell Department at our Loves Park Campus in Loves Park, IL. These individuals are responsible for various machining and grinding operations to produce components for the aerospace industry. Experience and entry level candidates are encouraged to apply!
What You Will Be Doing
Setting up and operating various machines
Honing and lapping parts
Testing parts on test stand
Navigating through company specific databases and systems to locate and utilize work instructions.
Completing various manufacturing processes on various materials
Reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T to verify that products are meet customer and company specifications and requirements.
Documenting processes, discrepancies and non-conformances.
Using inspection equipment including but not limited to calipers, mics, gauges, etc
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.
Work is performed in area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous CNC experience is highly desired.
Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
Honing/Test Stand/Subassembly/Lapping/Deburring/Inspect & Tag experience preferred.
