Weir Minerals U.S. in Candler, FL is seeking an Operations Technician to perform production, assemble and package materials, and support equipment setup and maintenance on site. You will inspect products for quality and work under safety-first policies to help meet daily targets.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced environment with strict PPE rules and a focus on continuous improvement to support sustainable mining technology.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to safely operate machinery and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and measurement skills.

What you'll do

• Production Operations: Safely perform production, assembly, packaging, and material handling activities daily to support efficient manufacturing and meet production targets.


• Equipment Operation: Operate assigned machinery and tools following standardized work instructions and safetyprocedures, ensuring smooth and safe equipment performance.


• Quality Assurance: Inspect products and materials to maintain quality standards, identify defects or production issues, and report concerns promptly.


• Maintenance Support: Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.


• Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering strictly to safety policies and PPE requirements.


• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring
