Weir in Florida is seeking an Operations Technician to join our onsite team in Candler, delivering production support, equipment operation and quality assurance. You will work with others to meet targets while upholding strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in manufacturing or related environments. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and a proactive maintenance mindset within a fast-paced setting.

What you’ll do

• _ Production Operations: _ Safely perform production, assembly, packaging, and material handling activities daily to support efficient manufacturing and meet production targets.
• _ Equipment Operation: _ Operate assigned machinery and tools following standardized work instructions and safetyprocedures, ensuring smooth and safe equipment performance.
• _ Quality Assurance: _ Inspect products and materials to maintain quality standards, identify defects or production issues, and report concerns promptly.
• _ Maintenance Support: _ Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
• _ Work Environment: _ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering strictly to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• _ Team Collaboration: _ Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring
