Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is seeking an Operations Technician I in Bridgeport, MI to support the production of orthopedic components. You will assist with inspection, material handling and adherence to quality procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires basic measuring skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn Lean and EHS practices. Orchid offers a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Basic measuring and quality inspection knowledge essential.
• Familiarity with 5S and Lean principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Transport materials safely using hand truck, pallet jack, carts, and tables.
• Dimensionally inspect parts using calipers, comparators and gauges per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S practices.

Ensures safety operating practices are demonstrated.
