Job summary

West Fraser is seeking candidates for on-site roles in Florida. You will understand and promote company goals, uphold policies, and be accountable for actions.

The role requires willingness to work varying shifts and to rotate across sawmill operations, with forklift/front end loader/skid steer qualifications desirable. The successful candidate will have mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and a drive to improve processes while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks.
• Willing to work varying shifts including days and nights for protracted periods.
• Willing to be assigned interchangeably between operations areas (sawmill, planer mill, kilns, shipping).
• Understand limitations and know when to seek assistance.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement.
