Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. (DGS) is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to assist with intake scheduling, front desk duties, and medical records tasks in a office-based behavioral health setting.

The role requires HIPAA privacy and security training, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality. You will work under the Operations Support Coordinator and DGS Practice Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, prioritize messages, and manage scheduling workflows.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays at check-in; document transactions.
• Prepare new patient packets and assist with intake assessments.
