Job summary

Paylocity in Ohio is seeking a Production Planner who coordinates the flow of work and materials to align with the production schedule.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team, with experience in MRP/ERP systems (Epicor) and MS Office.

You will enter scrap, create supporting documents, monitor jobs until completion, and assist purchasing with materials, while upholding safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP software.
• Proficient in reading blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of work and materials according to the production schedule.
• Enter scrap to job tickets and become fluent in MRP software timely.
• Create supporting work documents.
• Monitor and manually close jobs when complete.
• Complete rework job to replace scrapped parts if necessary.
• Print/ sort/ batch/distribute job travelers.
• Minor inventory adjustments: request change of part locations, and primary bins.
• Manage add sheet and returns.
• Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies.
• Assist in managing DMR/ NC items.
• Coordinate with purchasing when supplies are needed.
• Continually strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements.
• Act as a positive role model for all co-workers.
• Promote a productive and non-disruptive work ethic within the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Enter scrap to job tickets and become fluent in MRP software timely:
• Create supporting work documents
