Job summary

FNS, Inc. in Cartersville, GA is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee raw material inventory and coordinate with production to optimize material flow and availability.

You will forecast material requirements, enforce FIFO and Lot Traceability, and lead continuous improvement in warehouse operations while collaborating with Purchasing, Quality, Logistics and other teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Korean language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage raw material inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Forecast raw material requirements based on production plans and BOM, identifying shortages and risks.
  • Minimize obsolete and slow-moving inventory; optimize warehouse operations and material flow.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and transactions with FIFO and Lot Traceability compliance.
  • Lead inventory audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across materials management.
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics and other departments to support business objectives.

Mon - Fri (8am - 5pm)

Responsibilities
  • Manage raw material inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure inventory accuracy, and establish effective safety stock policies.
  • Forecast raw material requirements based on production plans and Bill of Materials (BOM), proactively identifying potential shortages and supply risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize obsolete and slow-moving inventory while optimizing inventory performance.
  • Oversee raw material receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with FIFO and Lot Traceability requirements.
  • Optimize warehouse operations, space utilization, and material flow to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and execute contingency plans to mitigate material supply disruptions, and coordinate with customers regarding supply constraints and recovery plans.
  • Lead inventory audits and analyze inventory data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop material management personnel while managing team performance and accountability.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, and other departments to support business objectives.
  • Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), while leading process improvement projects to enhance overall material management performance.
Qualifications
  • Warehouse MHE experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products
  • Proficiency in Korean is required
