Job summary

Pro Staff in Dearborn, MI is seeking an Operations Support Analyst to analyze workflows, map value streams, track KPIs, and partner with finance and operations to drive efficiency in a high-volume Tool & Die operation.

The role requires 3–5 years in data mining/analysis, experience creating dashboards, advanced Excel, and cross-functional collaboration; Bachelor's degree required with preferred related fields.

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document operational workflows related to tooling, maintenance, production support, and work order management.
  • Develop value stream maps to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Track KPIs including cycle time, backlog, capacity, utilization, spend, and work order completion.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visual management tools to improve operational visibility.
  • Partner with finance to monitor budgets, tooling costs, labor impacts, forecasting, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.

Operations Support Analyst

Location: Dearborn, MI

Pay Rate: $37.94+/hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Fully Onsite

Are you experienced in data analysis, process improvement, value stream mapping, and operational reporting? We are seeking an Operations Support Analyst to support a high-volume Tool & Die operation by analyzing workflows, improving operational efficiency, tracking performance metrics, and partnering with finance and operations teams to support business objectives.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data mining, data analysis, or operations analysis.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Background supporting manufacturing, industrial, operations, or production environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with value stream mapping, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, production, and finance teams.
  • Advanced Excel and data reporting experience preferred.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to work onsite in an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to move throughout production and operational areas as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
