Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a Supervisor I - Operations to oversee underground fiber and utility installation projects, directing day-to-day field activities and coordinating crews of 2–4 foremen and 6–12 employees. The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and cost control, with travel 10–25% and a pay range of $100,000–$120,000 DOE.

Exempt position based in the field across Colorado sites.

Qualifications

• Five (5+) plus years of construction experience is required.
• Three (3+) plus years of dry utility (gas) industry experience is preferred.
• One (1+) plus years of management experience is preferred.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the day-to-day operations of the departments under his/her supervision.
• Optimize and actively manage the work hours of employees and assets of the company.
• Proactively manages the business and provide feedback to Superintendent of Engineering on critical issues.
• Responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, training and standards of the company and each individual client are met.
• Responsible for performing weekly audits on each crew, multiple audits each week.
• Is expected to have a clear understanding, working knowledge of financial statements of the department under his/her supervision, identifying and implementing improvements for profitability.
• Inspect equipment and tools daily and ensure proper walk around.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for the company and clients daily.
• Develop leadership and maintain a multi-functional, well-trained workforce (2–4 Foreman/crew leads, 2–4 crews of 6–12).
• Travel 10-25%.
